Lauderhill is turning up the vibes this August as South Florida gears up to celebrate Jamaica’s 63rd year of independence! With deep Caribbean roots woven into the city’s culture, Lauderhill proudly joins the festivities with a series of vibrant events that honor the island’s spirit, legacy, and people. And with our very own Mayor being Jamaican, the pride hits even deeper!

Consul General Oliver Mair invites everyone in the community to come out and celebrate this powerful milestone.
