Back to School Backpack Giveaway Returns to Lauderhill – July 19, 2025!

It’s that time of year again—Lauderhill is helping students head back to school prepared, excited, and supported by their community.

The Back to School Backpack Giveaway is back and bigger than ever, presented by the City of Lauderhill in partnership with local Homeowner Associations. Families are invited to join us for a fun-filled day at St. George Parkon Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

What’s Happening at the Giveaway?

This isn’t your average supply drop-off—it’s a full-on community celebration. Expect:

• Free backpack and school supply giveaways

• Food trucks with delicious local eats

• Live DJ and music

• Bounce house fun for the little ones

• Face painting

• Police K9 demonstrations
